Bet slip — single and multi bets

Single bet: A bet on one selection only. The simplest method. Example: in a limited-overs cricket match, Team A's odds are 1.45 and Team B's are 1.75. A ৳500 bet on Team B returns ৳1,375 if Team B wins (৳875 profit); if Team A wins, ৳500 is lost.

Multi bet: Adding multiple selections to one slip creates a multi bet. The odds of each selection are multiplied together to produce combined odds. If even one selection loses, the entire bet is lost.

Example: 3 selections at decimal odds of 1.40, 1.60, and 1.70 — combined odds are 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.70 = 3.81 (approximately). A ৳100 bet returns ৳381 if all win; if any one loses, the full ৳100 is gone.

Multi bets offer higher potential returns but carry comparatively higher risk. Betting is for entertainment — not as a profitable strategy.
